About AGB – Angela Gail Banchi

Angela Gail Banchi discovered her love for photography at just 16 years old, and from the moment she picked up a camera, she knew she had found her calling. With over two decades of experience, Angela’s creative journey began in fine art photography, working in mixed media and alternative photographic processes. She also honed her skills as a black and white custom darkroom printer, printing for many professional portrait and wedding photographers—an experience that shaped her keen eye for detail and tone.

Today, Angela focuses on portrait photography that celebrates individuality, connection, and authenticity. Her offerings include:

Angela offers both environmental and lifestyle portrait sessions, with a signature approach that includes a movable studio—bringing the studio to you. This allows for sessions in the comfort of your own home, where clients (especially children and babies) feel more at ease and relaxed. Angela’s goal is always to create images that capture real relationships and genuine expressions.

Though she no longer covers large weddings, intimate ceremonies remain one of her greatest joys. She brings a blend of traditional and photojournalistic styles to tell a visual story filled with spontaneity, emotion, and artistry. Known for her warm presence and personal attention, Angela puts clients at ease and becomes a trusted part of their special day. From planning to album design, her professional approach ensures every detail is thoughtfully handled.

Angela has been affiliated with the Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area, and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, and continues to pursue photographic excellence with every session.

In recent years Angela has expanded her artistic talents to include watercolor painting, plein air painting (outside) and garden design.
